Programs that Empower Our Future Stars

Creative Writing & Spoken Word

Empowering youth to express their thoughts, emotions, and stories through poetry, journaling, storytelling,

and performance.  Includes writing workshops, spoken word nights, and publishing opportunities.

Theatrical Arts & Acting

Hands-on acting classes, improv, and stage performance coaching. A space for youth to explore identity, confidence,

and expression through character development an live theater.

Music & Sound Expression

Guitar and piano basics, songwriting, and music production workshops. Designed to nurture creativity through rhythm,

sound, and lyrics-just like Starr did.

Comedy & Impersonation Labs

Fun and freeing spaces for youth to develop comedic timing, sketch wiring, and character impersonation.  Emphasizes

on joy, humor, and social storytelling.

Mental Wellness Through Art

Journaling for healing, self-esteem exercises, and group sharing circles.  This program fosters emotional strength,

mental clarity, and inner peace through artistic expression.

"Voices of the Voiceless" Advocacy Through Art

Encouraging young people to use their talent and stories to advocate for change-whether through writing, acting,

or performance-based activism.

 

Youth Publishing & Showcase Series

Select writings and performances will be published in our annual youth anthology or showcased in

community events and open mic nights.  Every youth becomes a published or featured artists.

The Nastassia Starr Anderson Foundation

Students will have access to guided journaling sessions and wellness resources that encourage reflection and emotional resilience.  Prompts, mindfulness exercises, and optional consultations with wellness professionals  to help them manage stress, and build the confidence needed to thrive as writers and young leaders.
